OUTDOOR Sport Anchors & Hardware
Join Alejandra, an AMGA Single Pitch Instructor,to learn the basics to open up the playground and sport climb outdoors. This course covers hardware and bolted anchors you’ll encounter in the North Bay and how to use them. You’ll build anchors and learn how to clean and sport lower. It also teaches climbing ethics and best practices.

- Helmet
- Grigri or approved Assisted Brake Device with locking carabiner
- Reverso, ATC, or similar tube-style rappel device with locking carabiner
- 4 Locking carabiners
- Friction hitch (hollow block, autoblock) with locking carabiner
- Cordelette (18ft of 6mm cord)
- 120cm sling (double length) nylon or dynema with locker or wire gate carabiner
