INTRO CLASSES

INTRO TO ROPE CLIMBING

Covers the skills needed to Top Rope safely. We’ll teach you how to fit and put on a harness, tie a Figure 8 and Double Figure 8, use a Grigri, and the commands and safety checks used by climbing partners.

INTRO TO BOULDERING

Perfect for beginners eager to learn the basics of bouldering. Our instructors will guide you through essential climbing techniques and proper falling techniques, ensuring you feel confident and ready to tackle the walls.

CLIMB WITH SESSION!

An opportunity for you to climb in the rope area with our climbing instructors. Our staff will take care of the belaying so you can focus on getting mileage in and crushing your project.

BEGINNING TECHNIQUE

This class focused on essential techniques and movement principles. Designed for new climbers or those looking to refine their skills, this class covers the fundamentals of foot placement, foot positioning, hip alignment, and momentum.

INTERMEDIATE CLASSES

LEARN TO LEAD

Already have top roping experience and looking to take it to the next level? This two-part class will teach you how to lead climb, how to belay a lead climber, and the proper way to fall.

Get to know our talented instructor team with this once monthly technique workshop. Each instructor here at Session brings a unique background, perspective, and climbing style.

ADULT TEAM

 

Adult Team is for motivated adults who want to achieve their climbing goals. Weekly practices with experienced coaches will provide ongoing support, guidance, in a positive and encouraging environment.

ADVANCED & OUTDOOR CLASSES

ADVANCED LEAD

Perfect for any lead climber who wants confidence as a belayer and to push limits on lead. Whether you recently took Learn to Lead or have been belaying since the Sticht Plate, this class is for you. This class prepares you for the majority of outdoor sport climbing situation.

SELF RESCUE

A comprehensive Self Rescue course! Each scenario covered is designed to make your climbing experience safer and more enjoyable through learning essential knots, hitches, and rescue techniques to enable you to explore the outdoors with confidence.

ANCHORS & HARDWARE

This course will cover hardware and bolted anchors you may encounter throughout the North Bay and how to use them. You’ll get hands on experience building anchors such as the Quad, Sliding-X, considerations if you choose to use a draw anchor, and natural anchors.

Make it a point to go to this climbing gym. It was AHHH-mazing. Their boulder problems are pretty technical and the setters do an amazing job with have a range of different level. I would make this a destination to go to every time I go through this area. There daily rates are pretty on par with other climbing gyms I've been too. Thank you Session Climbing!

The setting here is awesome. It’s a little on the smaller side than where I usually climb but the problems feel top notch and the employees seem friendly and atmosphere inviting.
