Originally from Sandpoint, ID, Josette grew up immersed in the outdoors: backpacking, fishing, hunting, and lots of camping. Her love of climbing was a natural conclusion. She started climbing in highschool and, despite the occasional break from the sport, didn’t look back. Josette believes that climbing is a sport for everyone and is enthusiastic to guide new climbers in her Intro to Top Rope class. When she’s not teaching or working at the front desk, she’s climbing outdoors at her favorite crags on the Sonoma coast and in the Sierra’s.
