Welcome to our After-School Academy, specially designed for kids ages 7 to 12 who are excited to dive into the world of climbing!

This eight-week program caters to both newcomers eager to learn the basics and seasoned climbers looking to refine their skills!

Participants will meet weekly for two hours, where they’ll work with our dedicated team of climbing coaches. The curriculum will include structured practice sessions that give your climber a sneak peak into the training methods used in our more advanced climbing programs. Our supportive coaches emphasize personal growth and encourages each child to set and pursue their own climbing goals!

Near the end of the session, climbers can choose to continue their progress by enrolling in additional programming, perfect for those wanting to enhance their confidence and skills. For participants who exceled in the After-School Academy, our instructors are happy to discuss opportunities for placement in one of our Club meetings or advancement to one of our Rec Teams, which offers structured and regular weekly sessions based on availability and skill level.

Family Benefits: Climbers receive a full access membership for the duration of the program. Parents may take our Intro to Climbing Class* for FREE.

  • Attendance at the first class is required

  • Full payment is required to register.
  • Cancellation more than two weeks prior to the start of the session will result in a full refund of total paid.
  • Cancellation less than two weeks prior to the start of the session will result in a 50% refund of total paid.
  • There are no make-ups or credits for missed days.

Please keep in mind that the After-School Academy is not intended as a continuous program; each session will feature a new curriculum. For families interested in a more extended climbing experience, we encourage you to add your child to the one of our Climbing Clubs or Team options. To be eligible for Teams, children should have completed at least one session of our previous Monkey or Senders Academies, this After-School Academy, a Summer Climbing Camp, or have prior climbing experience.
