Women’s Lead Club
Join the Women’s Lead Club (WLC) for their monthly meetup at Session! Held on the third Friday of each month at 5:30 pm, these gatherings offer a welcoming environment for women* climbers of all levels to connect, climb, and build community.
WHAT IS WLC?
The WLC is nonprofit organization for the advancement of women in climbing, providing education, resources, and opportunities for both indoor and outdoor climbing adventures. While WLC addresses issues pertaining to women in climbing that includes AFAB, woman-identified individuals, trans women, gender-nonconforming, and gender-expansive people and support the missions of clubs like the Queer Climbing Club.
In addition to monthly meetups, the WLC hosts “Climber’s Coffee” one Sunday per month! These gatherings are a great opportunity to chat, share experiences, and enjoy a relaxed atmosphere. Remember to bring your own mug to support Avid Coffee served at Session!
Please note, the Women’s Lead Club is an independent organization collaborating with various climbing gyms, including Session Climbing, to foster an expansive supportive community for women climbers.
