Bill discovered his love for climbing on the same day he interviewed at his first rock gym almost 8 years ago. Since then he’s had the opportunity privilege to introduce youth and adults to the sport as a coach and instructor across the US. He developed his deepest passion and appreciation for climbing after working as a routesetter, discovering that climbs aren’t just about the holds on the wall but rather the movement between them. Each climb is an expression of its creator, and we can share in that experience as climbers. Bill joined the Session family in early 2024 and continues to inspire and encourage new climbers to discover what the sport means to them, or at least teach their belayers how they can best support that journey.
